Project Description
Con Edison Solutions designed, installed and manages a community solar facility on a site near Northampton, Massachusetts. Con Edison Solutions transformed a former rock quarry into a facility producing clean solar energy. Con Edison Solutions planted trees on the site and donated more than 20 acres to the town for preservation in its natural state. Over 150 residential and commercial subscribers are saving money on their electricity costs each month while they support local solar power.

Marbletown Community Solar

Project Description
The Marbletown community solar project is designed, built, and managed by Con Edison Solutions on land that was once a farm. The site is well-screened from the road and a nearby nature trail and is quietly producing clean, green energy for Central Hudson customers. This is the first project for Con Edison Solutions to develop in the Central Hudson utility territory and businesses and residents in the nearby communities can save on their electricity costs while supporting local solar power. Based upon the EPA equivalencies calculator, this facility can meet the electricity needs of approximately 860 average homes.

CES Moore Solar

Project Description
The Archdiocese of New York engaged Con Edison Solutions to design, build, install and manage a community solar facility at Moore Catholic High School. Subscribers include the school, local churches, and parishioners and enables these enrollments save on their electricity costs while supporting Pope Francis’ edict on climate change and the environment.

Monsignor Farrell High School, located in the Oakwood section of Staten Island, was the second community solar project the Archdiocese of New York initiated with Con Edison Solutions. Con Edison Solutions designed, built, and manages the facility for the Archdiocese. The school, local churches, and parishioners are subscribed which lets them save on their electricity costs while supporting local solar power development.
