New York, Make Your Voice Heard in Opposition to Increased Taxes

Once again Albany is proposing to increase taxes on energy.
The Governor's budget proposal would triple local Gross Receipts Taxes and the Assembly proposal would impose a sales tax on utility delivery charges that would range from 4% to over 11% depending on local tax rates. These increases would be on top of the 2% energy tax assessment that New York imposed last year.
Let your legislators know that you already pay enough for electricity and natural gas.
The Business Council of New York has created a web site that allows you to send an e-mail, fax or letter to the Governor and various legislators.
Click here to send a message to Albany telling them to stop raising taxes!
The more people who speak up, the stronger our voices will be.
Thank you for your participation.
DON'T LET ALBANY RAISE YOUR TAXES!
It will only take a few minutes of your time to have your voice heard.
