New York’s Energy Infrastructure Strengthened

About a year ago, Hurricane Sandy surprised and devastated a good portion of the northeast.  The gas shortage that resulted was an inconvenience to many but, most importantly, impeded response from emergency crews due to lack of fuel.  To avoid similar scenarios in the future, New York is creating a gasoline reserve that is expected to hold three million gallons of fuel.  Get the details about the pilot program.
