It's Time to Measure What Matters and Make It Part of Your Bottom Line

Bob Willard, author of the "New Sustainability Advantage" says that it is time for companies to start "accounting and being accountable for the things that matter."  According to Willard, the things that matter are the environmental and social impacts of a company in the view of important stakeholders such as customers, banks and other supporters.  It's not just about shareholders anymore.  Bob Willard explains what he calls "Capitalism 2.0" in this short video from the plenary talk at Sustainable Brands ’13 in San Diego earlier this year.  He shows not only how to make it work but how we will benefit from this more resilient business model.
