A New Building is Gaining Reputation as the Greenest in the World

Showcased in the New York Times in April for its Earth Day opening, the Bullitt Center received still more notice from visitors attending the Living Future Unconference in Seattle in May.  The building is one of only a handful in the United States which meet the rigorous requirements set forth in the Living Building Challenge administrated by the hosts of the Unconference (their event title, not ours).  Check out the building's many smart features visible to visitors through exposed mechanics, and especially note how the developers tantalize tenants and guests to use stairs instead of the elevator for both energy savings and health benefits.
