Jorge J. Lopez, President and CEO

Jorge J. Lopez serves as President and CEO of ConEdison Solutions. Mr. Lopez, who joined ConEdison Solutions in 2002, most recently served as Senior Vice President of Retail Commodity and Energy Services, where he was responsible for development and leadership of the company’s Energy Services and Retail Commodity divisions. He formerly also held the position of the Vice President of Sales.

An industry veteran with more than 20 years of experience, Mr. Lopez had previously served as Director of Sales, power quality/reliability and distributed generation for Chevron Energy Solutions, an energy services company based in San Francisco. Prior to his tenure at Chevron, he held a variety of management positions at New Jersey-based PSE&G.

Mr. Lopez holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology .


Robert E. Anderson, Vice President, Retail Commodity Sales

Robert E. Anderson serves as Vice President of Retail Commodity Sales.  Mr. Anderson most recently served as managing director of commodities for Phoenix-based APS Energy Services, where he managed consolidation of the firm’s retail and wholesale activities.  He also directed the company’s regulatory, pricing and risk management operations.

Mr. Anderson is a seasoned executive with 27 years of military and commercial experience. 

Mr. Anderson had previously held a series of positions with Arizona Public Service, Arizona’s largest electricity utility, where he managed an interdepartmental team that became America’s first retail direct access energy supplier in 1997.  His other roles with Arizona Public Service included system portfolio management and nuclear plant operations and management.  Prior to joining Arizona Public Service, Anderson worked in nuclear operations with Detroit Edison and Wisconsin Public Service.  Earlier in his career, Mr. Anderson spent six years on the USS Omaha, a nuclear-powered submarine.  Mr. Anderson has a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Capella University.



James J. Dixon, P.E. Vice President, Energy Services

Mr. Dixon serves as ConEdison Solutions’ Vice President of Energy Services. He previously served as Vice President and General Counsel responsible for all legal services for ConEdison Solutions. Prior to joining ConEdison Solutions, Mr. Dixon had over ten years experience with the Consolidated Edison Company of New York (CECONY) in its law department’s Nuclear Regulatory and Commercial Litigation sections. He also served as legal counsel for ConEdison Solutions from January 1998 until August 2002 and as Assistant Corporate Secretary for CECONY from August 2002 until joining ConEdison Solutions as its General Counsel in January 2004. He assumed his present responsibilities in January 2007.

Mr. Dixon is also a registered professional engineer in New York State and worked for CECONY as an electrical engineer for a number of years. In addition, Mr. Dixon is retired from the United States Army Reserve with the rank of Major. During his service in the Army Reserve, he commanded a Combat Heavy Engineer Company, was Executive Officer for an Engineer Battalion and is an honors graduate of both the basic and advanced officer courses at the United States Army Engineer School.

Mr. Dixon received his Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from Manhattan College and his J.D. from New York Law School. He is admitted to practice in New York and Washington D.C. and is also a member of the New York State Bar Association serving on its Public Utility Committee. He is currently Vice Chairman of the National Association of Energy Services Companies (NAESCO) which is the leading energy services industry trade organization that promotes energy efficiency nation-wide with over 70 member companies.


Mark Glucksman, Vice President, Finance & Accounting

Mark Glucksman serves as Vice President for Finance and Accounting for Competitive Shared Services, a unit of Consolidated Edison, Inc., where he manages the financial and accounting functions, and plays a leadership role in business planning and strategy development for all of Con Edison’s competitive energy businesses, including ConEdison Solutions.

Previously, Mr. Glucksman served as Controller for Competitive Shared Services and prior to that was Controller for ConEdison Solutions. Prior to joining ConEdison Solutions,

Mr. Glucksman served as Manager, Natural Gas Division at RAD Energy, in Purchase, NY. He also held positions of increasing responsibility at KeySpan Energy in Brooklyn and was a Vice President at Shearson Lehman Brothers in New York City. Mr. Glucksman holds a Masters in Business Administration from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the State University of New York at Albany. He is a Certified Public Accountant.


Paul F. Mapelli, Vice President & General Counsel

Paul F. Mapelli was named Vice President & General Counsel of ConEdison Solutions effective January 1, 2007. Mr. Mapelli was most recently an Assistant General Counsel in the Consolidated Edison Company of New York, Inc. (CECONY) Law Department, where he was primarily responsible for providing legal services to CECONY’s affiliate, Orange and Rockland Utilities, Inc. (O&R). He was hired by O&R in 1992 and transferred to the CECONY Law Department following the July 1999 acquisition of O&R by Consolidated Edison, Inc.

Mr. Mapelli has been the corporate Secretary of the competitive energy businesses of Consolidated Edison, Inc. since July 2002.

Mr. Mapelli received a Bachelor of Science degree from Herbert H. Lehman College and is a NYS Registered Nurse. He received his J.D. from Columbia University School of Law and is admitted to practice in New York. He is also a member of the Rockland County Empire Zone Administrative Board.


James Mueller, Vice President of Customer Operations

James Mueller serves as the Vice President of Customer Operations. Mr. Mueller recently joined ConEdison Solutions but has been employed by Con Edison Company of NY (CECONY) since 1975. During his tenure, Mr. Mueller has held positions of increasing responsibility in Customer Operations and Human Resources, including Department Manager in Staten Island and General Manager of Customer Assistance. In these positions, he managed call centers, customer accounting, complaint resolution and inside credit.

Previously, Mr. Mueller was the Director of CECONY’s Learning Center with primary responsibility for the delivery of training services for all CECONY employees. He managed a staff of six managers and 70 instructors and contractors, who were charged with developing and providing training in electric, gas, steam and customer operations.

Mr. Mueller has a Masters of Business Administration in Finance from Hofstra University. He received his Bachelor of Arts from the State University at Stony Brook.


Karen L. Nikischer, Esq., Vice President, Human Resources


Karen L. Nikischer serves as Vice President of Human Resources for Competitive Shared Services, a unit of Consolidated Edison, Inc., where she manages human resource services for all of ConEdison’s non-regulated subsidiaries, including ConEdison Solutions. She oversees compensation and performance measurement systems, organizational structure development, human resource and benefits administration, training and development, and recruitment and retention.

Prior to joining Competitive Shared Services, Ms. Nikischer was Managing Director of Central Services for ConEdison Solutions and managed the human resources, administrative services and contract administration departments. She has also held positions in customer operations, labor relations and employee benefits at Consolidated Edison Company of New York (CECONY).

Ms. Nikischer is a member of the New York State Bar Association. Her business affiliations include the Society for Human Resource Management, the Human Resource Planning Society and the Business Council of Westchester.

Ms. Nikischer holds a law degree from New York Law School, an MBA in Management from Fordham University, and a BA in Journalism from New York University.


Michael Perna, Vice President, Business Development

Michael Perna is responsible for managing the growth strategy and business expansion initiatives for ConEdison Solutions including all product development and tactical planning in support of the Retail Commodity and Energy Services businesses. In addition, he will lead the marketing and communications functions including brand management, advertising, lead generation and media relations for the company.

Prior to joining ConEdison Solutions, Mr. Perna was a principal at Energized Strategies II, LLC, a management consulting firm providing market strategy, product/service launch, and project management consulting for clients. Earlier in his career, Mr. Perna spent nearly 15 years at Public Service Enterprise Group (PSEG), a Fortune 250 energy company. There he held positions of increasing responsibility in a variety of functional areas including sales, marketing, and customer operations.

In 1993, Mr. Perna was awarded an Industrial Program Fellowship in Customer Systems at the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) in Washington, DC. Other professional recognition includes the PSEG Corporate Excellence Award, which he received in 1994 and 1997.

Mr. Perna holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University and a Bachelor of Engineering with Honors from Stevens Institute of Technology.


Christine A. Nevin, Director Business and Media Relations

Christine A. Nevin serves as Business and Media Relations Director with ConEdison Solutions. In more than 25 years in the utility industry, Ms. Nevin has worked on both the regulated and deregulated sides of the business.

As corporate spokesperson and primary media contact, Ms. Nevin develops relationships and coordinates interaction with the media as well as professional and business organizations for the Company. She also advises senior staff on all issues relating to positioning and customer relationships, develops and directs executive participation in seminars and conferences, plans and manages corporate events, and develops and maintains related interaction within the Con Edison family of companies.

Ms. Nevin previously served in a number of capacities of increasing responsibility at Con Edison including Account Executive, Energy Services Marketing Manager, and Customer Service Manager.

Ms. Nevin received her BA in psychology from Marymount Manhattan College and has participated in advanced management programs at Emory University and University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School. She serves on the New York City Investment Fund board, as Vice President of the Alumni Advisory Council for Marymount Manhattan College and was a director of the Association of Junior Leagues International
