White Plains, NY, May 18, 2004 - ConEdison Solutions, a leading energy services provider, has honored Kevin Martinsen, the company's manager of retail commodity programs, with its 2003 President's Award.

 

Each year, the President's Award honors an individual ConEdison Solutions employee who embodies the company's corporate values and goals.  Mr. Martinsen won this year's award in recognition of his superior performance, combined with his outstanding leadership, customer focus, and personal integrity.

One of the original employees to help launch ConEdison Solutions in 1997, Mr. Martinsen began as a sales associate and subsequently held a number of positions of increasing responsibility.  Last year, he assumed the role of manager of retail commodity programs, in addition to his sales position.  As manager, Mr. Martinsen supports the strategic and operational objectives for the commodity business, interfacing with sales support functions to enhance the effectiveness of the company's commodity processes.  He has also helped drive key initiatives involving training, customer service and system/process enhancements.

 

Kevin Martinsen earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Concordia College and an MBA in marketing from St. Johns University.  He lives in Brewster, New York, with his wife and two children.
