White Plains, NY, April 4, 2005 - ConEdison Solutions, a leading energy services provider, recently honored Mauro Cortina, the company’s senior project manager of engineering and construction services, with its 2004 President's Award.

Each year, the President's Award honors an individual ConEdison Solutions employee who embodies the company’s corporate values and goals.  Mr. Cortina won the award in recognition of his continued demonstration of excellence, which includes his professional expertise and his passion for the field of lighting and project management.

In 2004, as the industry pushed for the reauthorization of federal performance contracting, Mr. Cortina led the firm in generating lighting proposals.  He subsequently designed, developed and managed many of these lighting projects.  Mr. Cortina was also instrumental in obtaining rebates from the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority and NJ Smart Start to support the improved economics of the these projects. 

A native of Italy, Mauro Cortina resides in Deer Park on Long Island with his wife, Randi, and two sons, Dylan and Nicholas.
