West Orange Township Community Energy Aggregation

West Orange New Jersey

ConEdison Solutions is supplying electricity to the West Orange Township Community Energy Aggregation (WOCEA), an aggregation of all residential customers in the Township of West Orange, NJ.

The WOCEA program has been structured to provide residential customers with savings on their energy supply purchases at a minimum of risk.

Eligible residential customers are automatically enrolled in the program, but have the ability to opt out by submitting a request to the Township. They also have the option to choose budget billing. Eligible customers are those who do not have a contract with a third-party electricity supplier.

The term of the aggregation contract is March 2014 - December 2015. Under the aggregation, our contracted fixed price is approximately 9.5% below the average current rate of PSE&G, the town’s electric utility.

Over the 21-month period, the typical West Orange Township resident will realize annual cost savings estimated at about $120 by joining the municipal aggregation.
