EAO involves the sale of the "output" of an energy asset, as opposed to the sale of the energy asset itself.
EAO is the truest form of an end-to-end solution where Con Edison Solutions constructs, owns, maintains, and remotely monitors energy assets to serve its customers' diverse central utility plant requirements. EAO service is typically structured as a sale of the output of the plant or in ton-hours.
EAO service examples include Chilled Water, Steam, Hot Water, and Compressed Air.
